Too many options. Abundance of resources. (That is why we are here to sort you out. Wicked.)
“Well, why doesn’t somebody just write a student/youth guide with everything you need to know?”
Because that would be boring and full of useless junk written by someone from Texas. Okay, okay…there are some books out there on similar subjects… But— We love what we have here. It is a place to connect with other worldly Americans (“a new global youth in a global age”) who are in love with the idea that spending time in the UK is ‘just somethin’ ya gotta do before settlin’ down with a fam’ in the ‘burbs. And no, we are not Fordors or owned by Expedia. We are just a bunch of people who were once in your shoes with the same 101 questions. Fo’ real. And, figuring out how to go abroad should not be as tedious as it turns out to be for many (okay, most) people. Things change, laws change, resources change and so does this site, although a bit more often than the others.
