History: Royal Greenwich

The Prime Meridian runs through Greenwich and I’m a bit partial to this neighborhood in South East London because I used to live there. It’s simply beautiful and full of history. Henry VIII used to have his dog kennels here and Henry VI built a palace, which is now long gone.
If you are ever looking for a day trip in London, I highly recommend it—not to mention the Greenwich Market on the weekends, which is, in my humble opinion, one of the best London artisan markets. I bought my favorite wallet there for £2.
